Babe's Kids Chicken Runs at Midnight 2011

The Second Annual Chicken Runs at Midnight was held on May 20, 2011 at the Haddonfield High School. Last year thousands of people rallied behind the Strobel family and supported the Canuso Foundation in a way that exemplifies the best in people. This year, we supported Tyler Townsend!

Tyler is a 5 year boy with an extremely rare neurological disorder which presented in infancy. Tyler began having seizures when he was 5 days old. Tyler's seizures were very difficult to control and progressed to 100 per day.

The night was a huge success and an amazing tribute to our local community. As a result, we were able to give the Townsend family more than anticipated for Tyler's future care and needs.

We would also like to give a special thank you to the town of Haddonfield, Mayor Columbi, high school principal Mike Wilson, Joe Riggs and the Haddonfield Fire Department, Lt. Steussy and the Haddonfield Police Department, and everyone else whose contributions were invaluable. Where else but Haddonfield would an entire town close down and run a race at midnight for a five year old resident battling a severe disability.
